Wildflowers in Fredericksburg

It’s looking like the Texas Hill Country will have a good crop of wildflowers this spring.  The early news is that the fall rain has germinated the bluebonnets, and because of the drought, they have been able to spread where other vegetation hasn’t fared as well.  Make your reservations now – best viewing is generally the first few weeks of April.  It ‘s not too early to start planning your Spring Getaway!

 

Spring at Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg

Now we are warming up and expecting a great spring of wildflowers.  A fine thing to do here in the Texas Hill Country is visit Enchanted Rock State Park.

 Go early, as the parking lot fills up and the park closes.  Spend the night with us, get a great breakfast and be on your way to a day of hiking, climbing, and discovering!
